Church Highlights
&
 Happenings

Representatives from the GCB Middle School, Weaver 4-H Club, Luther League(First Lutheran Church), and Thrivent members from Gilmore City, will be sponsoring a "Join Hands Day" with several work projects planned for this event. Dates Chosen (weather permitting) are Sunday afternoon, May 1st and Sat. May 7th.  Sites chosen for improvement are:  Clean-up, trim bushes, mulch "Forest Preserve" Area, scraping, painting trim on Concession stand at softball diamond as well as basketball hopes, poles, bench, Time clock posts, and TRV activity announcement sign.  These projects are all at the GCB School, and the youth from the school will be especially involved in these work assignments.  Other areas planned are clean-up and planting bushes within the Town Square.  Any other sites needing our attention will be designated at the time of our work schedule.  Thrivent Chapter members, Connie Benjamin, Denzil and Donna Wiemers along with Arlene Jones, Wanda Benjamin, and Betty Pisel are contact personell involved in this event.  Anyone wishing to help with these work projects may call Betty at 373-6473...
